3. Eligibility for Refunds

3.1 Cancellation by Client

If you need to cancel a scheduled service, our refund policy is as follows:

  • Cancellation with more than 7 days' notice: Full refund or option to reschedule.
  • Cancellation with 3-7 days' notice: 75% refund or option to reschedule.
  • Cancellation with 24-72 hours' notice: 50% refund or option to reschedule.
  • Cancellation with less than 24 hours' notice: No refund, but we may offer a one-time rescheduling option at our discretion.

3.2 Service Dissatisfaction

If you are not satisfied with the service provided, you may be eligible for a partial or full refund under the following conditions:

  • You notify us of your dissatisfaction within 48 hours of the service completion.
  • You provide specific details about why the service did not meet your expectations.
  • The issue is not resolved through reasonable adjustments or additional support.

Each case will be evaluated individually, and our decision regarding refunds for service dissatisfaction is final.

3.3 Cancellation by Evenland Scape

If Evenland Scape needs to cancel or reschedule a service due to unforeseen circumstances, you will be offered the following options:

  • Full refund of your payment
  • Rescheduling of the service at a mutually convenient time
  • Credit toward a different service of equal or greater value (you will need to pay any difference in price if selecting a higher-priced service)

4. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds are not available in the following situations:

  • After a service has been completed and you have not raised any concerns within the 48-hour timeframe
  • For no-shows without prior notification
  • If you are significantly late for your appointment, resulting in reduced service time
  • If you violated our terms and conditions during the service
  • For digital products or downloadable style guides that have already been accessed or downloaded
  • For gift cards or vouchers (unless required by applicable law)

5. Refund Process

5.1 How to Request a Refund

  2. Provide your name, the service booked, the date of the service, and your booking reference number.
  3. Explain the reason for your refund request in detail.
  4. If applicable, include any supporting documentation or evidence related to your request.

5.2 Refund Processing Timeline

Once your refund request has been approved, please note the following timeline for processing:

  • Refunds to credit or debit cards typically take 5-10 business days to appear on your statement, depending on your financial institution.
  • Bank transfers may take 3-5 business days to process.
  • Alternative refund methods (such as store credit) will be processed within 2 business days.

6. Special Circumstances

6.1 Illness or Emergency

If you or the stylist assigned to your service experiences a sudden illness or emergency, we will work with you to reschedule or provide a refund, regardless of the notice period. Documentation may be required in some cases.

6.2 Weather Conditions or Force Majeure

In the event of severe weather conditions or other circumstances beyond our control (including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, or civil unrest) that prevent the service from taking place, we will offer rescheduling or a full refund, regardless of the notice period.

7. Package Services and Gift Certificates

7.1 Service Packages

For service packages (multiple services purchased together at a discounted rate):

  • Partial refunds for unused services in a package will be calculated based on the regular price of the used services, not the discounted package price.
  • Package services must be used within 12 months of purchase unless otherwise specified.

7.2 Gift Certificates

For gift certificates:

  • Gift certificates are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase unless otherwise specified.
  • Unused gift certificates may be refunded to the original purchaser within 30 days of purchase.
  • Expired gift certificates are not eligible for refunds.

8. Exceptions to the Policy

Evenland Scape reserves the right to make exceptions to this policy on a case-by-case basis. Any exceptions granted do not constitute a waiver of our right to enforce this policy in the future.

In certain circumstances, we may offer alternatives to monetary refunds, such as:

  • Service credits for future bookings
  • Partial service adjustments
  • Complimentary additional services
